Persistent red marks often remain on the face long after acne has subsided, leading to aesthetic concerns for many.
These specific marks are generally referred to as **'Post-Inflammatory Erythema (PIE)'**, and
their appearance stems from the expansion of microvessels near the epidermis following an inflammatory response.
Operating at a 595nm wavelength, the V-beam laser is a pulsed-dye laser (PDL) that
targets and selectively absorbs the red color (hemoglobin) present in these specific blood vessels.
It functions by coagulating them through thermal energy.
As a device specifically designed for vascular lesions,
it may contribute to reducing redness and red marks by directly targeting and selectively destroying the underlying red blood vessels.

For red marks persisting after acne, the Genesis Laser is often considered a key treatment option.
